Reception Kebaya

Eventhough I still get the occasional panic attack when I think about the Kebaya seamstresses, I started to browse through various sites looking for ideas for my inspiration board. Contemporary design in these kebayas caught my eyes, they are gorgeous and very extravagant. Ya you guessed it, you get what you paid for. The price range for these kebayas are over USD$1500. Dream a little dream of mine.. :)

 

Unless of course if I managed to find a kebaya/dress seamstress who is able to make an exact copy with only a fraction of the cost! That would be perfect! 

Another option is to go for a more traditional style of Kebaya, these are modern kebayas as well. They are actually rental kebayas.

 

Renting the Reception Kebaya is an option that I have been considering. Reason being is because they are very glamorous and extravagant. You will only wear it ONCE in your life, and I cant seem to accept the idea of cashing out so much money for something that I will only wear once.  I really would rather spend the cash elsewhere for the wedding. Wedding rings for instance! Something that we will wear forever.. :)
