I cant believe we're five months away to the Day!! =)
Justice of the peace (penghulu) has been booked! Yayyy... marriage documents are also ready to go. The only things left are the Certificate of Islam and the CNI Letter (Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage) from the Canadian embassy.
Rental kebayas and beskaps have also been booked...yaayy!! Im having such a hard time deciding which Sundanese Crown (Siger) I want to wear for the reception! Help me pleaseee??!

Remember how a few months ago, I was fretting over Kebaya seamstresses?? wellllll my search has end! I have trusted the faith of my Ceremonial Kebaya to miss Myrna Myura. She is a 24 y/o up and coming extraordinarily talented Kebaya designer from Jakarta. Her kebayas are all over the indonesian magazines and have been worn by celebrities on their wedding day! Trully a prodigy! I have to admit that I am still anxious.. mostly because I wont be able to schedule any fittings until I arrive in Jakarta about a week before the day.. but I found comfort in knowing that I'm in good hands!
The final choices on the color theme has also been made. I have emailed the decoration vendor today, I am hoping to get a reply soon... We are no longer having a tiffany blue and chocolate brown wedding.. it is now all about peach, champagne, ivory, soft dusty pink, and milk chocolate brown..
So sophisticated...!! I LOVE IT! :) I can only hope the decoration vendor will be able to bring these pictures to life!

about your kebayas designer, hm..honestly i've never heard her name before. but i'm relieved, that there is a youngster who is interested in designing kebayas. i thought anne avantie would be fighting by herself..

Hey anna thanks for popping by. Myrna is the best kept secret in the kebaya industry =) Im sure that you've seen Bunga Citra Lestari's white and baby blue ceremonial kebaya?? Yup thats one of Myrna's master piece.

Vote for siger 1 dear.. Btw aku juga pakai Myrna Myura buat desain kebaya hamil aku buat acara Nujuh Bulanan.. And puaaasss.. Menyesal kenapa waktu gw kewong dulu blom kedengaran namanya.. I heart my mitoni Kebaya, dan aku yakin kebaya wedding mu pasti bakal fenomenal.. ^_^
Shoumie, ndun, Anggiii tararengkyu yaaa vote-nyaa... :) gue kayaknya malah mau bikin kebaya resepsi nih di Myrna dan malah akad-nya aja yg nyewa.. abis sayang kalo udah buat bagus2 yg ngeliat dikittt hieuheuihuiehe *lebay.com*, udah kirim email ke Myrna tapi belom dijawab-jawab.. hiks moga2 dia masih bisa meluangkan waktu buat kebaya resepsikuuu....
