Catering Meltdown!!!

I am in a panic.. just had a conversation with my dad. He was suddenly so secretive about the catering vendor.. I finally bugged him enough to open up. Turns out that my mother, has insisted on holding off on finalizing a deal with Puspa Catering. A good friend of hers has suggested to use the hotel's in house catering. Reason being is because you will get a few more bonuses from the hotel (free rooms etc).

Sounds like this is not a big deal, right? WRONG! The in house catering at the hotel has horrible reputation, I have even compiled quite a few online reviews and reviews from some of my close friends who have been to numerous receptions catered by the hotel - NONE of them has anything good to say. I would rather pay for my own rooms - FULL PRICE. Given that the catering will not be an embarrassment.

At the end all he said was "Dont worry too much, we will let you know by the end of March.." OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUSNESS.... MARCH??!!! All good reputable catering vendors limit the number of weddings they cater in one day, I find it very hard to believe that the they will still be available for booking three months before the wedding date.. sigggggggghhhhhhh and OF COURSE because I'm thousands of miles away, I cant do sh*t about this..

Sooo needless to say, I'm just a tiny bit frustrated about the catering situation... God please help me..!
